Kate Svedersky, Owner

Kate Svedersky has been taking pictures since she got her first camera at age 10.  She knew she wanted to be a photographer in high school, so she pursued a bachelor's degree in photography at Sam Houston State University.  After college, she assisted several portrait artists before forming her own company.  In 2010, she merged her business with a partner to form Photographers of Westlake, which specializes in individual and family portraits.

In 2011, they saw the need to provide a better quality portrait and student experience for school yearbook photos.  Eanes Elementary was their first client, but it has now grown to include preschools, elementary and middle schools, a private high school, fine arts programs and various sports teams.  The rapid growth and specific nature of volume photography prompted them to split the company into two separate businesses:  Photographers of Westlake and Westlake School Photos.
